Here you will discover how to gain superior focus and reduce stress, enhance mental and physical performance, boost immune system and increase cold tolerance.
Please join us this February for a unique WHM event in Alladale Lodge. Together with Alladale's owner Paul Lister, you will enjoy not only the expert guidance of WHM instructor Allan Brownlie, but also a variety of unique nature documentaries and presentations. You will have the rare opportunity to hear all about the UK's largest privately owned rewilding project, directly from Paul himself.
Your days will be filled with Wim Hof Method practices, home cooked meals, sauna, private gym, hikes, while enjoying the service of Alladale's hospitality team.
Single rooms, twin rooms, and double rooms are available. Yoga mats, bolsters, blankets, and blocks will be provided. Mountain bikes are also available if you'd like to explore Alladale's 23,000 acre wilderness reserve'
During these 4 days you will learn the techniques of Wim Hof Method including breathing, meditation and cold exposure and how to apply them in your everyday life.
The retreat will be run by Certified WHM Instructor – Allan Brownlie

How to get to Alladale:
Nearest Airport is Inverness. We can help arrange for transfers. The drive to Alladale takes about 1 1/2 hours.

How to prepare:
If you are new to cold exposure, you can start practicing by finishing your warm shower with 30-60 seconds of cold water only. Begin with your feet and then follow with your legs, your stomach, shoulders, neck and back. Focus on calming down your breath.
Don’t put your head under the cold shower, it is better to skip the cold shower on the head for the first month. This way you will become more familiar with the way your body reacts to the cold.
