About the Event
3 day Fundamentals Workshop
During these three days, all facets of the Wim Hof Method will be extensively explored. The theory behind the Method will be discussed, but the majority of the workshop will be a step-by-step instruction or, rather, feeling, as Wim often says: “feeling is understanding.”
Alladale Wilderness Reserve's 23,000 acres of rough and challenging landscape, located high up North in the Highlands. Bunkhouse Deanich Lodge will be your accommodation throughout your stay. Deanich is one of the most remote buildings in The Highlands, located 7 miles away from Alladale's main lodge. Do not expect WIFI or cell-phone coverage here: this is a true off-grid experience.
The Workshop will be run by Certified WHM Instructor – Allan Brownlie

Your experience is our priority
Everyone can participate to their own ability and level of comfort. It is all about fun, new experiences and learning. If you have any health conditions or concerns please contact us beforehand.
How to prepare:
If you are new to cold exposure, you can start practicing by finishing your warm shower with 30-60 seconds of cold water only. Begin with your feet and then follow with your legs, your stomach, shoulders, neck and back. Focus on calming down your breath.
Don’t put your head under the cold shower, it is better to skip the cold shower on the head for the first month. This way you will become more familiar with the way your body reacts to the cold.
